First big Dota 2 event of 2024 is BetBoom Dacha Dubai
With the Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) for 2024 cancelled and tournament organizers filling the gap before The International 2024, some fans might be wondering what the first big Dota 2 esports event of the year is. Well, we are happy to report you won’t have to wait long, as the BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024 event kicks off in early February.
BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024 first details
The BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024 event is an offline LAN tournament taking place in Dubai from 4 to 16 February 2024, with a group stage from 4 to 8 February and the playoffs from 11 to 16 February 2024.
12 teams will compete for their share of the huge $1 million prize pool. At the current Dollar to Rand exchange rate, that’s roughly R18.7 million. There are qualifiers currently underway for the final eight slots. The teams invited are:
- Team Spirit
- Team Liquid
- BetBoom Team
- LGD Gaming
