ESL One Berlin Major 2023 viewer’s guide

ESL One Berlin Major details
Taking place from 26 April to 7 May 2023, the ESL One Berlin Major is an offline event played in front of a crowd at the Velodrom in Berlin, Germany. Teams will be competing for their share of the $500,000 prize pool and 2700 DPC points. At the current Dollar to Rand exchange rate, that’s roughly R9 million.
The group stage of ESL One Berlin Major 2023 features two groups of nine (9) teams each. All matches are BO2 with a single round-robin format. The top four teams advance to the upper bracket of the ESL One Berlin playoffs, while the 5th and 6th place teams advance to the lower bracket. The bottom three (3) teams are eliminated.
The final 12 teams will compete in the ESL One Berlin Major 2023 playoffs following the group stage. This stage follows a double-elimination bracket format, with all matches being best-of-three, except for the grand final, which is best-of-five.
