Cloud9 is looking for a new home for their current CS:GO squad, which includes two South African players and a coach. Even so, the team has been competing at ESL Pro League Season 12: North America.

This might be the last time we see the CS:GO squad compete under the Cloud9 banner, and disappointingly, they have been eliminated in the group stage.

Cloud9 lost 2-1 against FURIA, then beat Triumph 2-0 in the group stage. Their only win was followed by four losses against Team Liquid, 100 Thieves, Chaos and Gen.G respectively.

For their efforts, Cloud9 placed 7th at ESL Pro League Season 12: North America, as they walked away with $7,500 as well as a bonus of $3,500 for their win against Triumph.

The ESL Pro League Season 12 grand final is scheduled to take place on 27th September, and fans can tune in to watch on the official ESL CS:GO Twitch.tv channel.
