South African esports organization ATK Arena has announced a brand-new Fortnite Creative Box Fight tournament for local gamers in the Cape Town area to enjoy. The Fortnite Creative Box Fight tournament will be held at the ATK Arena headquarters and promises to be a whole lot of fun later this month. Here’s what you need to know about this new tournament.

Fortnite Creative Box Fight details

The Fortnite Creative Box Fight tournament by ATK Arena will take place on Sunday, 23 May 2021 starting at 11:00 SAST. This tournament is scheduled to run for roughly three hours until 14:00 SAST. There will also be a warmup period starting at 10:30, so contestants will need to get there a bit early.

Yes, this is not an online event. Instead, the Fortnite Creative Box Fight tournament will take place at the ATK Arena headquarters. For those who don’t know, the ATK Arena venue address is 91 Main Road, Claremont, Cape Town, South Africa, 7708.

To participate in this event, you will need to purchase a ticket over on the tournament’s Quicket page. Tickets cost R150 per player in this 1v1 Fortnite event. For R100 more, your ticket will include lunch (burger and fries). Refreshments will also be available to purchase at the Arena.

The prizes include:
  • 1st Place – 20 Hours Game Time at ATK Arena
  • 2nd Place – 12 Hours Game Time at ATK Arena
  • 3rd & 4th Place – 8 Hours Game Time at ATK Arena each

Players who get knocked out early will still be able to use the ATK Arena facilities until 14:00. This tournament features a single-elimination bracket format, with the following schedule:

  • 10:30 – 11:00: Setup and warm-up
  • 11:00 – 11:20: Round 1
  • 11:30 – 11:50: Round 2
  • 12:00 – 12:20: Round 3 (Quarter-Finals)
  • 12:20 – 13:00: Break
  • 13:00 – 13:20: Round 4 (Semi-Finals)
  • 13:30 – 13:50: Round 5 (Grand Finals)
